Growing up in the south means that I absolutely love the outdoors. I've played football, baseball, soccer, basketball, hunted, fished, and all sorts of other outdoor activities all of my life. So I feel that the outdoors and sports are an important part of a child's development. Sports are a great tool to teach kids teamwork and problem solving. It also gives students a certain work ethic that they might not get otherwise. As a future teacher, I also want to be a coach. Athletics are very important to me and I can't wait to share my passion of sports to students one day.
